What every result shows
The workings, not just a total
Each result lists every band, allowance and deduction that was applied, ending in a total with the effective rate.
Assumptions on the page
Open “Rates and assumptions used” on any tool to see the rates, thresholds and what is left out.
Private by design
Calculations happen in your browser. Saved scenarios stay on your device, and you can delete them at any time.
Before you rely on a number
A calculator is a starting point. These checks catch most surprises.
- Confirm the tax year. Every page states the year its rates come from.
- Check the assumptions and exclusions for the tool you used. Reliefs, treaties and special regimes are often left out.
- Compare against the official rates published by your tax authority.
- Keep records of the inputs you used. The “Inputs used” list in each result can be printed or saved as a PDF.
- For filing, penalties or larger decisions, speak to a qualified tax adviser in the relevant country.
