Privacy Policy
In short. The calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not receive the figures you enter, and this site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who we are
Razi Tax Calculator (“we”, “us”) runs the website at razitaxcalculator.netlify.app.
What information is handled
Calculator inputs and results
Numbers you enter and the results you see are processed on your device by code that runs in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party.
Saved scenarios
If you choose Save scenario, the inputs, a short result summary and an optional name you type are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. We cannot see them. You can delete them on each country page or by clearing your browser data. See Cookies and local storage.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Netlify. When you visit, Netlify’s servers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver and secure the website. This is governed by Netlify’s privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
This site does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools.
Why we handle it
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing the website and in answering your enquiries. If we ever ask for your consent, we will say so at the time and you can withdraw it.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with Netlify as our hosting and form provider, and where the law requires us to.
International transfers
Netlify operates internationally, so hosting logs may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Netlify describes the safeguards it applies in its own terms and privacy documentation.
How long we keep it
Hosting logs are kept by Netlify under its own retention rules. Saved scenarios stay on your device until you delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. In practice this site holds very little personal information, since calculator inputs and saved scenarios never leave your device.
Security and what not to enter
The site is served over HTTPS with security headers. Please do not enter passwords, bank or card details, tax identification numbers or other government ID numbers into any calculator field. The calculators never need them.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other websites
We link to official tax authority websites and other sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be described here.
