Disclaimer
In short. Results are estimates from simplified rules. They are not tax advice, they may be out of date or incomplete for your situation, and you should confirm them with your tax authority or a qualified adviser before you file or decide anything.
Estimates only
Every figure produced by this site is an estimate. The calculators apply published headline rates to the numbers you enter. Your actual tax may be higher or lower because of details these tools do not model, and any assessment issued by a tax authority takes priority over a result from this site.
Not professional advice
The site does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment or financial advice. Using it does not create an adviser-client relationship. Nothing here is a recommendation to take, or avoid, any action.
Rules change
Tax rates, allowances and thresholds change, often at the start of each tax year and sometimes mid-year. Each country page states the tax year it covers. Rates were last reviewed in September 2026. Where a rule changed or was announced after that date, results may not reflect it.
What the calculators leave out
To stay usable, the tools simplify. Depending on the tool, they may not include:
- tax residence, domicile, treaty relief or foreign income rules;
- special regimes, sector-specific rates, group rules and anti-avoidance provisions;
- local, state, provincial or municipal taxes unless stated;
- reliefs, credits, deductions or benefits that depend on personal circumstances;
- penalties, interest, surcharges and late-filing consequences;
- changes made by legislation that has not yet taken effect.
The assumptions and exclusions for each tool are listed on its page and on the methodology page.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking results, for the accuracy of the figures you enter, and for meeting your own filing and payment obligations. Please keep your own records of any calculation you rely on.

For filing, disputes, business structuring, cross-border situations or larger decisions, speak to a qualified tax adviser in the country concerned, or contact the relevant tax authority directly.
Spotted a mistake?
Compare the figure against the official rates published by the relevant tax authority, listed on each country page, and treat that published figure as correct.
